Enrollment Reminders:
Please follow the steps listed below to withdraw your student from Tapestry Public Charter School for the current school year.
Step 1: Email Tapestry’s registrar, amia.west@tapestrycharter.org that you intend to withdraw your student. Attach a photo ID for verification of student parent/guardianship.
Step 2: Fill out the electronic withdrawal form: https://forms.gle/PPokNBzftaq9nobZ8
Step 3: Return Chromebook and any other school property to Tapestry (call or email to ensure someone will be available to receive the Chromebook)
Step 4: You will receive a confirmation email with a withdrawal packet to bring to the new school for enrollment.
Please have your student’s new school submit an official records request to Tapestry. If you are planning to homeschool, you must declare with the GADOE. Please email a copy of the declaration to the registrar.
To ensure our records are up to date, returning Tapestry families are required to submit an updated proof of residency or affidavit at the beginning of each school year. Acceptable proofs include a current utility bill (gas, electric, or water) or a signed lease of residence that is dated with the current year. Proofs must show the parent/guardian’s name.
Please send one proof of residency to the registrar, as well as any information updates throughout the school year (address, phone number, email address, etc.).
Please direct all questions to our Registrar, Ms. Amia West at enroll@tapestrycharter.org.

Families are invited but not required to attend the lottery. Families will be notified via email of their child’s placement and the lottery results will also be published on the website.
Charter law prohibits the school from prescribing a ratio of students, such as having separate lotteries for special needs students and typically developing students. Therefore, all students are selected in the same open lottery.
Our charter does allow for priority enrollment to be given to children of full time employees or board members and to siblings of currently enrolled students. The sibling policy is in place in order to support families and afford them the convenience of sending their children to the same school. If a student is selected to attend Tapestry either in the lottery or from the waitlist, his/her sibling(s) will also be offered a seat. In no case will a seat be given to a sibling who is lower on the waitlist instead of the student who is originally selected.
No. Tapestry does not participate in the School Choice Lottery. In order to apply to Tapestry, parents will only need to fill out our online application: https://tinyurl.com/2021TapestryEnrollment
