Lauren Sullivan is a High School Mathematics Teacher and serves as the High School Team Lead at Tapestry. She also supports students as the High School Tier 2 Specialist, sponsors the senior class, co-sponsors the Student Government Association, and contributes as the assistant coach for Tapestry’s volleyball team. Lauren was honored as Tapestry’s Teacher of the Year in Spring 2025.
Originally from New Jersey, Lauren moved to Atlanta with her husband in 2014. This year marks her 12th year at Tapestry, and she is excited to continue teaching mathematics to such a talented and diverse group of students. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Connecticut and completed an Inclusive Teaching Program at Georgian Court University. Before joining Tapestry, Lauren co-taught middle school math at a charter school in New York City and has over a decade of experience tutoring students of all ages in both math and science.
Outside the classroom, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children. She loves traveling to the beach, reading, and attending performing arts events. Lauren is grateful to be part of the Tapestry community and looks forward to another fulfilling school year.
