Ms. Basye earned a MBA in Strategic Management from Davenport University which led her to a rewarding 20-year career in Corporate America. She is currently living out her dream of helping exceptional students fulfill their true potentials. She holds a M.ED. Special Education from Grand Canyon University along with the Adaptive Curriculum Endorsement. Ms. Basye has had the honor to service students in several states including her hometown Detroit, MI before landing in Georgia. During her educational journey she has served in the following roles: Substitute Teacher, Paraprofessional, Behavior Specialists, Mentor, Functional CommunicationTeacher and Lead Teacher.
Ms. Basye enjoys spending time with family and friends, serving as a Civic Leader for Hands on Atlanta, listening to music, dancing in the pool, thrifting and traveling.
Ms. Basye is passionate about elevating scholars by meeting them where they are and allowing them to Dance to their OWN tunes.
