Hello Tapestry Families!
My name is Ashley Witeczek, and I’m thrilled to be supporting 7th grade this school year. As a native of DeKalb County, I attended Sagamore Hills Elementary and Lakeside High School. With over 20 years of experience as a school counselor in DeKalb, I’m dedicated to fostering student success through creating an inclusive and supportive environment.
As a nationally certified counselor, I have extensive experience working with students across various learning styles, cognitive profiles, and sensory processing needs. I’m well-versed in both charter and traditional public school practices. My personal experiences and passion for supporting autistic students have drawn me to Tapestry, where I am both a parent and staff member. I’m excited to return for my second year at Tapestry and look forward to a fantastic year ahead!
