Brelan Miller is a Louisiana-born but Georgia-native educator who received her Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Health Science from Kennesaw State University. She developed a passion for education while working as a substitute teacher and teacher assistant in underserved communities during her undergraduate years.
Following her graduation, Brelan embarked on a clinical path in behavioral health, where she supported neurodivergent students of all ages in disability schools. Her commitment to aiding students with diverse learning needs has been a cornerstone of her career. With a background in behavioral health, she has embraced various behavioral approaches and ABA methodologies. Her passion for serving this particular population motivated her to pursue a career in special education, aiming to create a lasting impact in her community and on her students. Brelan is currently working towards her Master’s degree in Special Education.
In her leisure time, Brelan cherishes moments with her beloved cat, Gigi, and delights in cooking with family and friends. She also finds joy in attending city festivals and concerts. Brelan is thrilled to embark on her first year at Tapestry and looks forward to building meaningful connections with her students!
