To attend Tapestry Clayton, students must reside in Clayton County and be entering grades 6 through 10 for the 2026-27 school year.
Residency Requirement
Tapestry Clayton is authorized to serve students who live in Clayton County. You will be asked to provide proof of residency as part of the enrollment process.
Grade Eligibility
For the 2026-27 school year, students entering grades 6 through 10 are eligible to apply. The school will add one grade per year until it serves grades 6 through 12.
No Academic Prerequisites
There are no academic requirements, test scores, or ability levels required to apply. All eligible students are considered through the same open lottery regardless of academic history, disability status, or learning profile.
Half of Tapestry’s students have learning differences, including IEPs and 504 plans. We welcome and support all learners.
Enrollment Priorities
- Children of full-time Tapestry employees
- Children of board members
- Siblings of currently enrolled students
