Tapestry Clayton is a tuition-free public charter school opening in Fall 2026. We serve students in grades 6 through 10 in our opening year, adding one grade each year until we serve grades 6 through 12.
Admission is through an open, random lottery. There are no academic requirements or prerequisites.

Tapestry Clayton brings more than ten years of inclusive, student-centered education to Clayton County. Our classrooms are welcoming places where students feel supported, understood, and encouraged to grow.
Half of Tapestry’s students have learning differences. Our dual-teacher model is designed to support a wide range of learners while maintaining high expectations for everyone.
Enrollment for 2026-27
We are currently accepting applications for the 2026-27 school year. Applications are free and open to all students residing in Clayton County who will be entering grades 6 through 10.
If more students apply than there are seats available, students will be admitted through a random lottery. Students not selected will be placed on a waitlist.
