PEERS is one of the most effective social skills programs available, and it is part of what makes the Tapestry experience unlike any other school.

Social Skills That Stick

PEERS (Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills) is an evidence-based social skills program that is part of the Tapestry model at DeKalb. It’s a 16-week program for teens and young adults who want to build stronger social skills and friendships. It is one of the only research-supported programs proven to produce lasting gains.

Who Benefits from PEERS?

PEERS was designed for students with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and other social challenges, but it is beneficial for many students who want to build stronger social connections.
