We partner with companies that believe in inclusive workplaces to give our seniors hands-on experience that sets them up for life after Tapestry.
Real Work, Real Skills
We collaborate with companies that support an inclusive environment, helping our high school seniors gain real workplace knowledge through hands-on experience.
The Tapestry internship program is a cornerstone of our model and will be available to Tapestry DeKalb students as the campus grows to include 11th and 12th grade. Families enrolling now are part of the founding class that will be our first interns.
How the Program Works
Every Tapestry senior participates in a career development module before stepping into a real internship placement. The module covers career exploration, resume writing, career days, and professional skill development. Once complete, students are placed with partner businesses where they work approximately four hours per week, either on-site or remotely.
