Is This School For You?
To attend Tapestry DeKalb, students must reside within the DeKalb County School District and be entering grades 6 through 12.
Residency Requirement
You must provide proof that you live within the DeKalb County School District. Note that some areas of Atlanta and Decatur fall within DeKalb County geographically but are zoned for Atlanta Public Schools or City of Decatur Schools. Students in those zones are not eligible to attend Tapestry unless they are children of full-time Tapestry employees or board members.

Grade Eligibility
Tapestry serves grades 6 through 12. Students entering any of these grades are eligible to apply during open enrollment.
No Academic Prerequisites
There are no academic requirements, test scores, or ability levels required to apply. All eligible students are considered through the same open lottery regardless of academic history, disability status, or learning profile.

- Children of full-time Tapestry employees
- Children of board members
- Siblings of currently enrolled students
