Applying Is Simple

Applying to Tapestry DeKalb is free and open to all eligible students in the DeKalb County School District in grades 6 through 12. Admission is by random lottery, so all applicants have an equal chance.

How to Apply

Applications are accepted through our online lottery system during open enrollment. Open enrollment typically runs from December 1 through early February.

After You Apply

  • You will receive confirmation that your application was received
  • The lottery is held in February and translated into Spanish
  • Families do not need to be present at the lottery
  • Results are communicated within 48 hours via the contact information on your application
  • If offered a seat, confirm your acceptance by the posted deadline
  • New students who are new to DCSD must complete enrollment through the school district

Waitlist

If open enrollment has closed, you may still apply to be added to the waitlist. Students are admitted from the waitlist as seats become available. Contact to be added.
