Tapestry’s high school serves students in grades 9 through 12 in a caring, high-expectation environment where every student is known and supported.

Preparing Students

We prepare students for college, career, and life after graduation. Our 100 percent graduation rate for each of our last three graduating classes reflects what is possible when students are truly seen and supported.

College Preparatory Pathways

Because of our small school environment, Tapestry offers more specialized academic pathways than most traditional public schools. Students can choose from focused academic tracks including Game Design, Engineering Drafting and Design, Fine Arts, and World Language. We also offer Advanced Placement courses in U.S. History and Statistics, with plans to expand AP offerings.

High School Academies

Students in grades 10 through 12 participate in Academies during fourth block, a structured sequence of courses in a chosen pathway that earns recognition on their diploma. Academy options include Ecology, Engineering and Game Design, Band, Spanish, Art, and Drama.

Co-Taught Classrooms

Every core class at Tapestry is co-taught by a general education teacher and a special education teacher. This model gives all students access to both academic rigor and individualized support within the same classroom.

Technology and the Arts

Every student at Tapestry has access to a personal Chromebook. Our commitment to the arts includes music, visual art, drama, and partnerships with the Alliance Theatre, SENSE Theatre at Vanderbilt University, the Atlanta Symphony, and the High Museum.

Internship Program

Every senior participates in a career development module that includes career exploration, professional skill development, resume writing, and a real-world internship placement. Students leave Tapestry with professional experience and the communication, time management, and problem-solving skills to use them.
