The culture we build every day is one where students feel safe, respected, and known.

A Culture of Belonging

Tapestry is not just a place to learn. It is a community. The culture we have built over more than a decade is one where students feel safe, respected, and genuinely valued for who they are.

What We Mean By Inclusive Culture

At Tapestry, inclusion is not a program. It is how we operate. Neurotypical students and students with learning differences share the same classrooms, the same hallways, the same lunch tables, and the same graduation stage. This is not accidental. It is the result of intentional daily choices by every adult in our building.

Social-Emotional Learning

We weave social-emotional learning into the school day at every level. Through PEERS, through advisory, through the way teachers talk with students and with each other, we model and teach the skills students need to manage emotions, build relationships, and navigate difficulty.

Discipline as Communication

We approach student behavior as communication. When a student acts out, we ask what is underneath that and work with students, families, and staff to address it. Our discipline approach follows our Student Code of Conduct and prioritizes problem-solving, restorative practices, and positive outcomes over punitive responses.

Our Titan Identity

Tapestry students are Titans. That name carries something. It means strength, resilience, and commitment to the community. Our students graduate knowing they were part of something good, a school where everyone belonged and everyone was expected to grow.
